Is, as its name indicates, on the beach, at the foot of the Acropolis of kourion.

 

This is a three-aisled Basilica of the early 6th century. a.d. with Portico terrace. The floors of adorn colourful mosaics with geometric patterns, while during the excavation of, found that there were entoichia mosaics.

 

After its destruction in the 7th century, with the invasions of Arabs, the basilica was covered by sand and quickly forgotten. So were almost all architectural members that were made of imported marble prokonisio. Because of its location and orientation, it is assumed that the Royal had some relationship with the sea and possibly the port of kourion.
